New Trailer for “Lu Over The Wall” Shows More on Lu

Learn more about the characters of the upcoming fantasy film “Yoake Tsugeru Lu no Uta” a.k.a. “Lu Over The Wall” as Toho Animation releases a new two minute trailer for the film. Directed by the man known to have worked on surreal art, Masaaki Yuasa and animated by Science SARU, the story of the film tells the tale of a young boy and his band one day encountering a strange sea creature named, “Lu”.

In the trailer, the focus goes to the voicework behind Lu’s character and has footage of her voice actress Kanon Tani, the voice behind Yotsuha Miyamizu of the highest-grossing animated film in Japan, “Your Name”, speaking on the character and her thoughts on her.

From what can be garnered from the video which shows a few seconds of some new scenes not seen in the trailers before, Kanon describes Lu as a character that loves to dance and is a character that she finds “cute”.

Other than this, there were no other details given on what else to look for in the upcoming film.
