Posted in: Anime News

It was announced on Monday by Sony Pictures, Park Circus, and Fathom Events that the upcoming CG-animated film Resident Evil: Vendetta is slated to premiere in US and Canadian theaters on June 19 for one night screening only! Tickets will go on sale starting this month. Japan will screen the movie on May 27.

The film will be based on CAPCOM’s horror game Resident Evil (Biohazard) and will have a complete original story. This is so far the franchise’s third CG-animated film after Resident Evil: Degeneration (2008) and Resident Evil: Damnation (2012).

Hiroyuki Kobayashi (CAPCOM producer) will be supervising the project. Mathew Mercer, Kevin Dorman, and Erin Cahill will do the English-dubbed voices of Leon S. Kennedy, Christ Redfield, and Rebecca Chambers respectively.
