Sentai Filmworks to release ‘Typhoon Noruda’ anime film home video

Sentai Filmworks will soon release Studio Colorido’s Typhoon Noruda anime film in home video. The date of the release has yet to be announced.

Typhoon Noruda is directed by Yojiro Arai, with character designs by Hiroyasu Ishida and music by Masashi Hamauzu. It first premiered in Japan last in June 2015.


Story description

“The film takes place in a middle school on a remote island. Shuichi Azuma, a dedicated student, suddenly quits the baseball team, which leads to a fight with his best friend, Kenta. When a storm hits their school one day, Shuichi meets Noruda, a mysterious girl with a strange necklace, who seems to be somehow connected with the typhoon. Who is she? More importantly, why does Shuichi feel the need to help her?”
