Two Compilation Films Set for "Haikyuu!!" in Fall

Coming this fall, following its recent finale to its third season in December 2016, the popular sports anime known as “Haikyuu!!” will be releasing not one but two compilation films. Announced on Monday in the 16th issue of the Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine he two films are titled as “Haikyu!! Sainō to Sense” a.k.a. “Haikyu!! Genius and Sense” and “Haikyu!! Concept no Tatakai” a.k.a. “Haikyu!! Battle of Concepts.” In this year’s AnimeJapan 2017 event, the Toho Animation Booth will be unveiling a promotional video and a teaser visual for the films on March 25.

For the films, the first film will be focusing on the first season’s match against the skilled team of as protagonist Hinata Shouyou calls him, “The Great King” Touru Oikawa. The second film will be featuring the match against the reigning champions Shiratorizawa and the number one ace in the Miyagi prefecture, Wakatoshi Ushijima.

Other than the details stated, there are currently no other details released in regards to the staff and cast that will be working on the film.
