KANA-BOON, The Peggies to perform theme songs for ‘Boruto’ anime series

Japanese bands KANA-BOON and The Peggies will perform the the opening and ending theme songs of the upcoming Boruto: Naruto Next Generations television anime series respectively, the 15th issue of Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine revealed earlier this week.

KANA-BOON will perform “Baton Road,” while all-female pop-rock band The Peggies will perfom “Dreamy Journey.”

KANA-BOON previously performed the 16th opening theme song of Naruto Shippuden Anime, entitled “Silhouette,” as well as the ending theme of Boruto: Naruto the movie, entitled “Diver.”

The anime will feature an original story, set to premiere on April 5.

Last year,the sequel story to the Masashi Kishimoti’s super hit ninja manga and anime series, Naruto, launched the movie, Boruto – Naruto the movie, with Boruto as the series’ main character.

A manga adaptation of Boruto by Ukyō Kodachi and Mikie Ikemoto has been covering up the story in film so far. It was first published on May 9.
