‘Gundam Wing’ anime Blu-ray and DVD release in North America confirmed

The Blu-ray and DVD versions of Gundam Wing mecha anime will be coming in North America this year!

According to Nozomi Entertainment, the Gundam Wing will be released by Right Stuf and Sunrise sometime this 2017. The exact release date, however, has yet to be announced.

The release will include interviews of the cast and creators answering questions from fans, which you can submit here. Fans can ask questions for voice actor Hikaru Midorikawa, who played Heero Yuy; director Masashi Ikeda; writer Katsuyuki Sumisawa; character designer Shuko Murase; and producer Hideyuki Tomioka.

The deadline for submissions would be on March 16 at 7:00pm US Central Time.


Official story synopsis

“It is the year After Colony 195, and war between the Space Colonies and Earth has begun. To give the colonies an edge, they send 5 young soldiers, trained to perfection, to earth in the most powerful of Mobile Suits-Gundams. With their arrival, the tide of the war changes as they battle against the Earth forces and the Colonies of their origin.”
