Anime-Original Arc for ‘One Piece’ Starts on March 19!

Get ready for a different kind of pirate adventure as One Piece enters into the anime-original “Marine Rookie” arc on March 19. This has been confirmed in this year’s 14th issue of Weekly Shonen Jump. The anime is currently on its 751st episode and now near the end of the Zou Arc.

The said magazine issue reveals that the arc will focus on Luffy and his companions traveling to rescue Sanji. New Marine soldiers will also be making their appearances in the anime.

Although the character name spelling aren’t official as of this time, here are the names of the cast members in this new One Piece anime arc:

Natsuki Hanae as Grant, who has a strong sense of justice.
Hiroki Yasumoto as Bonam, a member of the Longarm Tribe.
Makoto Furukawa as Sappa, a dual-sword wielder.
Youhei Tadano as Vice-Admiral Prodi, who seems to be an old friend of Garp.
