Just in case you lost count, Naruto Shippuden is now reaching its 500th episode and now nearing the end of this awesome action-packed ninja series. The 2017 14th issue of Weekly Shonen Jump have teased the finale of the “Konoha Hiden” arc of the anime slated to air on March 23.

The March 23 episode is not for certain if this is the final episode for the Shippuden series. The only thing we know so far is that the episode will focus on Iruka’s message to Naruto Uzumaki as his wedding present to him.

Three epilogue novels were adapted into the Naruto Shippuden anime in December. The first novel that was adapted into an anime was Naruto: Sasuke’s Story – Sunrise (created by Shin Towasa) novel which was followed by Naruto: Shikamaru’s Story (by Takashi Yano). The third novel Naruto- Konoha Hiden: Shugen Biyori (by Sho Hinata) premiered in Japan in February.

The adventure continues as the new series Boruto: Naruto Next Generations will premiere on April 5.

The anime series may be ending soon—but the ninja action will live on!
