The upcoming The Royal Tutor television anime series will premiere in Japan starting April 5, its official website announced on Wednesday.

Directed by Katsuya Kikuchi, the The Royal Tutor anime is based on Higasa Akai’s original manga of the same name.

Main cast includes:
• Keisuke Ueda as Heine Wittgenstein, the tutor
• Yūya Asato as Kai von Grannzreich, the second prince
• Yūto Adachi as Bruno von Grannzreich, the third prince
• Daisuke Hirose as Leonhardt von Grannzreich, the fourth prince
• Shouta Aoi as Richt von Grannzreich, the fifth prince

Yen Press has also licensed the manga series and began releasing its English e-book versions in 2015.

Story synopsis (by Yen Press)
“Accepting the post of Royal Tutor at the court of the king of Grannzreich, Heine Wittgenstein is a little professor with a big job ahead! Each of the kingdom’s four princes has a rather distinct personality. Does their diminutive new instructor have what it takes to lay down some learning? It’s a comedy of educational proportions!”
