TV Anime ‘Clockwork Planet’ to Premiere on April 6!

If you’re familiar with the Clockwork Planet novels, then you’re in for a treat! This novel series created by Kamiya and Tsubaki Himana will have its own anime adaptation slated to air on April 6 in Japan. This news has been confirmed in the anime’s official Twitter account on Saturday. fripSide will perform the anime opening theme titled “clockwork planet” while After the Rain, a musical duo, will perform the ending theme “Anticlockwise”.

Tsuyoshi Nagasawa will be directing the series at XEBEC while Kenji Sugihara will be doing the series composition. Other staff include Shuichi Shimamura (Character Designer), Kenji Teraoka (Mechanical Designer), Hanae Nakamura, Kaori Nakano, Shu Kanematsu, and Satoshi Hono (Music Composers).

Aside from the staff working in this production, the cast are confirmed. This upcoming anime adaptation will star the following personalities:

Yoshino Nanjō as Naoto Miura
Ai Kakuma as RyuZU
Saori Ōnishi as Marie Bell Breguet
Kenichirou Matsuda as Vainney Halter
Sayaka Senbongi as AnchoR
