Website Builder Wix Buys DeviantArt

In an announcement on Wednesday, Wix.com, a popular website builder company have officially acquired design and art community website DeviantArt.com. Wix purchased the website at the cost of US$36 million in cash plus US$3 million of assumed liabilities. The website will continue to function as a separate website with an additional feature that old and new users of DeviantArt can now use Wix’s design tools for building their online business and presence.

Similar for Wix website users, you can now have access to DeviantArt’s community and art for website building. The website builder company also have plans investing for DeviantArt’s mobile apps and desktop applications.
