The The Ancient Magus’ Bride: Those Awaiting a Star (Mahō Tsukai no Yome: Hoshi Matsu Hito) anime has released the trailer for its third and final part. Just a little warning though: the teaser contains spoiler for the previous two films.
The last film is set to open in Japanese theaters on August 19. It’s first part premiered in August 13 last year. It’s second part, meanwhile, had its first run on February 4.
Directed by Norihiro Naganuma at Wit Studio, Those Awaiting a Star is a three-part anime that prequels Kore Yamazaki’s original The Ancient Magus’ Bride manga. The anime features an original story in a setting before Chise meets the Magus.

The Ancient Magus’ Bride manga was first published in Mag Garden’s Monthly Comic Blade magazine in 2013. North American publisher Seven Seas Entertainment has obtained the license to publish the series in English language in 2014.

“Chise Hatori has lived a life full of neglect and abuse, devoid of anything resembling love. Far from the warmth of family, she has had her share of troubles and pitfalls.
