"Love Kome~We Love Rice" Official Twitter Reveals Original Manga to be Released Before Anime

Announced on February 10 is a different take of an adaptation for this year with rather than a manga to anime it is an anime to manga adaptation for the anime project that anthropomorphises rice, “Love Kome ~ We Love Rice.” Though the anime is set to premier in April, according to the project’s
official Twitter account the manga will be having its own original story with the title “Love Kome ~ Rice is Beautiful” and will be launched on February 24 at the Comic Smart’s free manga website Ganma.

The anime, which is being directed by Takashi Horiuchi tells the tale set in a prestigious academy known as the Kokuritsu Inaho Academy. It is where five new students with a love for rice aim to replace bread as the most popular grain product at the school. Forming a unit in which they call “Love Rice” they face the challenges in being able to perform at the academy’s “Harvest Show” and show the delicious appeal of rice.

At the moment, there is no further details given on the staff to work on the manga
