Just in case you’ve been living under a rock, Pokemon GO is a smartphone game released for the iOS and Android applications last year. Developed by Niantic, your aim is to capture Pokemon, evolve them, and conquer gym battles in real time and in your location. Since its release, the app has been one of the most downloaded applications in both Google Play and Apple App Store.
After months of not-so-much updates, the official Twitter account of Pokemon announced on Thursday that 80 new Generation 2 (Johto Region) Pokemon are now available to be captured. Aside from this big update, gender-specific variation are now available in the game. Evolution items are now required from some Kanto-region Pokemon. Don’t worry though for you can get these in Pokestops. Nanab Berries and Pinap Berries are also available to obtain as well as new shirt, hats, and pants, and other new items for the trainer avatars.
Are you ready to catch them all again?
