Live-Action Film Sequel for 'Chihayafuru' Will Take Place Two Years Later

During the Sanuki Film Festival in Kagawa on Sunday, Director Norihiro Koizumi announced the live-action film sequel for Chihayafuru will take place after the first two films. Filming will start this spring which depicts Taichi, Chihaya, and Arata in third year high school.

The film will be mostly focused on the love triangle of the three characters as well the settled rivalry between Shinobu and and Chihaya. Koizumi also stated that Chihayafuru creator Yuki Suetsugu have approved the live-action film’s script.
