Posted in: Anime News

While some of us getting ready for the new video game releases, we think you would should get back into the Pokémon Sun and Pokemon Moon this month. A special Machamp will be released in the mentioned games this month due to a collaboration with Olympic wrestler Saori Yoshida.

This “limited edition” Machamp has the following moves once you have it: Bulk Up, Double Edge, Quick Guard, and Strength. In the both Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon, strength is a signature move of a fighting Pokemon. This Machamp is special due to it already has Double Edge. You can get “Saori’s Machamp” in Tsutaya, 7-Eleven, and various game stores in Japan that have 3DS stations. If you’re going to Japan this month, be sure to take this opportunity because this special event is only until February 8 to February 28.

Below is a Pokemon commercial which features Soari Yoshida along with her Machamp. She is one of Japan’s popular sports figure for a good reason: she won Olympic gold medals in 2004, 2008, and 2012. She also obtained a silver medal in the 2016 Olympics. She has garnered a total of 13 consecutive world champions and only three loses on her record. Pretty awesome girl.
