"Yuri!!! On Ice" Collaborate with Smartphone Fantasy Game "Rage of Bahamut" Brings Reimaganing of Main Characters

The “Yuri!!! On Ice” franchise continues to grow with merchandise ranging from body pillow to posters and from recent reports, even futon covers for its fans. Now the main cast of the popular ice skating anime takes on a new look with a collaboration work with the card battle smart phone game developed by Cygames’, “Rage of Bahamut.”

Set to run for one week on February 15-22, Yuuri Katsuki, Viktor Nikiforov and Yuri Plisetsky are playing as warriors from the winter kingdom of Zeronitea. They are charged with the duty of protecting the Snow Queen from the forces of the invading demons. To tie in with the game each male was given their own unique look.

As seen in the visuals released for the collaboration, Yuuri was given a look presenting him as a knight with a sword at his side and a trusty companion in the form of Makkachin with a little helmet of their own.


For Viktor, he was given the look of a type of ice magician with his iconic costume from the anime turned into a type of cloak and a type of wand being wielded.

Last but not least, Yuri Plisetsky a.k.a “Yurio” for both the anime and the fans, gains the image of a human with wings.

For the game, the main cast shall be their voice actors of the anime shall be making a reprise
