It is a fact that there is a myriad of anime series and films that have left its mark for various of reasons. From the beautiful art, unique plots and memorable characters, there is a treasure trove of shows and genres to go through in this community. However, with every positive there is also a negative and it is no different for anime. For every, good, fantastical and striking anime, there is also, the strange, the questionable and even just simply bad anime. The following listed are the latter type of anime that has left their viewer questioning what they had just watched.
School Days
This is a twisted tale of a love triangle gone wrong, starring high school student Makoto Itou who upon his second semester as a first year forms a crush on Kotonoha Katsura. Yet believing that he is out of his league and being too shy to approach her he instead admires her from afar until his classmate Sekai Saionji finds him out and offers him her help to get together with his crush. A simple goal that half way through seemed to veer off in the worse way possible.
Prison School
In the prestigious all-girls school that is Hachimitsu Private Academy, five males have been accepted. Yet with a ratio of 200 girls to 1 boy their chances of making friends are slim to none, more so when all the girls have snubbed them without them being able to make any kind of impression. Because of this the five boys, Kiyoshi, Gakuto, Shingo, Andre, and Jo shift to another more dangerous goal, peeping into the girl’s bathroom. Yet their plan is thwarted by the Underground Student Council of the Academy and now they face their punishment from them.
Shimoneta to Iu Gainen ga Sonzai Shinai Taikutsu na Sekai
Set in a world where all perceived immorality is considered against the law to the point that the people are made to wear high-tech devices called Peace Makers (PM) devices that observe their every move. The protagonist for this story, is Tanukichi Okuma a high school student whom, in order to reunite with his crush and President of the student council he enters the country’s leading elite “public morals school”. Yet upon his entry he is entangled with the plots created by the perverted terrorist “Blue Snow” and her organization SOX’s protest against the regulations through the spreading pornographic material.
