Toei Animation uploaded a video on Saturday revealing that Dragon Ball Super anime will be entering a new arc called the “Universe Survival Arc” slated to be aired on February 5. Check out the 30-second video below:
The Dragon Ball Super official website included us a synopsis about this upcoming new arc that hints that there will be something major happening after the tournament:
According to an invitation that Goku gets, Zen-Oh is starting a martial arts tournament between all the universes called “Chikara no Taikai” (Tournament of Power). But it is the beginning of universal destruction. Something awaits the winners and losers of this tournament. What will become of this fierce team battle between each universe’s elite warriors?
There will be a new opening theme song titled “Genkai Toppa x Survivor” during the arc’s premiere which will be performed by Kiyoshi Hikawa.
