Four New Characters Announced for Rugby Anime "All Out!!"

A new year comes with new episodes and new characters for the new rugby anime “All Out!!” as announced by the series’ official site. Though there are no details on when exactly these new characters shall make their appearance nor in which episode it will be but it has been confirmed that a total of four characters have been set.

The new characters that shall be making their appearance are the members of the Tenjiku Technical High School’s rugby club whom made their first appearance in chapter 39 of the manga series. Playing as Sunao Asuka is the man who voiced “Tokyo Ghoul’s” Ken Kaneki and “Ace of Diamonds’” Haruichi Kominato, Natsuki Hanae.

For the character Renpei Sakura is Kazukya Nakai, recognized for his work in various anime including “Joker Game” as Fukumoto and “xxxHolic” as Shizuka Doumeki.

Tomohisa Hachizume, known for his roles as Bertholt Hoover in “Attack on Titan” and Delico in “Gangsta” will be playing as the character Hikaru Sono.

Last but not least, playing as Jun Fukushima is the voice behind Former King in “No Game No Life” and Shoukichi Naruko in “Yowamushi Pedal”, Jun Fukushima.

First premiering on October 6 the anime now has a total of 16 episodes with the latest episode just airing this week on January 27. For those unfamiliar with the series the story tells of Kenji Gion, a first year at Kanegawa Prefectural high school where he encounters the sport of rugby and is inspired with the idea of tackling in the sport. Alongside with him is the tall Sumiaki Iwashimizu he journeys through the world of rugby and gradually learns the core of the game. This is a tale of a sport where anyone, whether big or small, muscular or lean, can be a star so long as they have the ball.
