Last Tuesday, the wraparound jacket of the 20th volume of the soccer manga series DAYS revealed that it has so far printed a total of 4.5 million copies!

DAYS is a manga series created by Tsuyoshi Yasuda and was first in launch in April 2013 in the Weekly Shonen Magazine. With a total of 22 volumes so far (Volumes 21 and 22 will released in March and May respectively), it paved way to a spin-off manga created by Saori Otowa as well as a 24-episode anime series.

The story of DAYS is about two boys who were never acquainted with each other. Tsukushi Tsukamoto has no special skill that he can be proud of, but he has a very passionate heart. While Jin Kazama is a solitary soccer genius. They both meet each other on one stormy night which was the start of the two getting into the intensity of high school soccer.
