New Ads for Japanese Live-Action 'One Week Friends' Film Feature Yuki and Kaori

The Japanese live-action film adaptation of Matcha Hazuki’s One Week Friends manga is slated to premiere in Japan on February 18. Two new online commercials were released on Friday featuring the theme song “Kanade for Isshūkan Friends,” performed by Sukima Switch. You can check out the two online commercials below:

To give you a synopsis, the story is about a boy named Yuki who wants to make friends with his classmate Kaori. Koari however rejects his friendship because her “member of her friends disappear in a week”. Regardless of this, Yuki is still determined to become friends with her even if he has to do it over and over again for weeks.
