'Servamp' Manga Goes On Hiatus

Posted in: Anime News

Monthly Comic Gene magazine’s official Twitter account announced on Wednesday that Servamp manga will go on hiatus starting on the the publication’s February issue. The reason is due to the artist’s heath. Strike Tanaka has been suffering some intense shoulder and intervertebral disk pain which is already affecting her work. Her doctor recommended to rest until she is fully recovered. The magazine will announce the return of the manga series soon.

Here is a synopsis of Servamp as described by Seven Seas Entertainment:

When a stray black cat named Kuro crosses Mahiru Shirota’s path, the high school freshman’s life will never be the same again. Kuro is, in fact, no ordinary feline, but a Servamp: a servant vampire. While Mahiru’s personal philosophy is one of non-intervention, he soon becomes embroiled in an ancient, altogether surreal conflict between vampires and humans.
