'Blood-C' Anime Gets Live-Action Film Adaptation This Fall

CLAMP and Production I.G.’s Blood-C anime will have its live-action film adaptation titled Asura Shōjo Blood-C Ibun (Asura Girl: Blood-C Another Story) set to premiere in Japan this early fall. According to the “Asura Girl Project” that was launched on Friday, the movie will have an original and new story line set in pre-World II Japan.

The anime series premiered on 2011 with a sequel film titled Blood-C: The Last Dark in 2012. A manga adaptation was created by Ranmaru Kotone and was published in the Monthly Shonen Ace from May 2011 to August 2012.
