The live action film based on Ryoko Fukuyama’s Anonymous Noise (Fukumenkei Noizu) manga is set to premiere on November 25 in Japan, according to the 2017 third issue of Hakusensha’s Hana to Yume magazine.
Cast:
• Ayami Nakajō (Fatal Frame / Project Zero’s Aya Tsukimori) as Nino
• Jun Shison (Anohana’s Yukiatsu) as Yuzu
• Yūta Koseki (Dorome’s Hayata Hoshino) as Momo
Anonymous Noise manga was first published by Hakusensha in 2013. Last October, Viz Media announced that it obtained license to publish the series in English language.
Story synopsis according to Viz Media:
“A girl who loves to sing, Nino Arisugawa experiences her first heart wrenching goodbye when her beloved childhood friend, Momo, moves away. And after Nino befriends Yuzu, a music composer, she experiences another sad parting! With music as their common ground and only outlet, how will unrequited love play out? Since both boys promised Nino that they will find her one day through her singing, she holds on to that hope and continues to reach out with her voice. Now in high school, Nino serendipitously reunites with Yuzu, but she yearns to see Momo again…”
Anonymous Noise manga also inspired an anime television series slated to premiere in April. The anime is directed by Hideya Takahashi under Brain Base studio.
The anime adaptation stars Saori Hayami (Akagami no Shirayuki-hime’s Shirayuki and Owari no Seraph’s Shinoa Hiiragi) as Nino, Daiki Yamashita (Boku no Hero Academia’s Izuku Midoriya and Trickster’s Yoshio Kobayashi) as Yuzu, and Kouki Uchiyama (Amagi Brilliant Park’s Seiya Kanie and Charlotte’s Yuu Otosaka) as Momo.
