Official Site Announces Title and Premier for "Fairy Tail" Second Film

Further details are now released for the upcoming second film of the shounen fantasy anime “Fairy Tail” as announced on Saturday by the website launched by the film distribution company GAGA. It was in May 2015 that it was first announced that there would be a second anime film for the series by the “Kodansha’s Weekly Shōnen” Magazine though no further details were disclosed at the time.

For those who are unfamiliar with the show “Fair Tail” features a world where magic is the norm and the story follows the members of one of the most prestigious guilds known as “Fairy Tail”. In additional to the announcement made it has been reported via the television series in March that a new project was in the works.

As of the moment the second film has gained a name for itself called “Dragon Cry” which has been confirmed by the official twitter of the manga creator Hiro Mashima. With this the film staff have also opened an official twitter account for the film itself as the film itself shall premier in the summer 2017.
