Further Details on Premier and Staff for "Welcome to the Ballroom" Anime Adaptation Released

Only two days after its announcement of an anime adaptation, “Welcome to the Ballroom” a.k.a “Ballroom e Yōkoso” or even “Sweep Over the Dance Hall” created by Tomo Takeuchi has gotten further details for its production per further revelation of the January 6 announcement of the “Kodansha’s Monthly Shonen Magazine” February 2017 issue.

As of the moment only details of the anime’s premier and staff have been made. Set to direct the anime at “Production I.G.” is Yoshimi Itazu, recognized for his work as the animation director of shows “Den-noh Coil”, “Paprika”, and “Miss Hokusai”. Acting as the overseer of the series’ composition is the man who worked in stage plays “K”, “Tōken Ranbu” and “Isobe Isobee Monogatari ~Ukiyo wa Tsurai yo~” Kenichi Suemitsu.

Designing the characters of the anime is Takahiro Kishida, whom has done character designs for multiple works including “Haikyuu!” and “Puella Magi Madoka Magica”. Last but not least is Yuuki Hayashi acting as the music composer of the upcoming adaptation having previously done work in anime shows such as “My Hero Academia” and “Death Parade”.

In regards to the premier of the anime it is set to occur in the summer of 2017. Additional to this it has been reported that Tomo’s hiatus due to poor health is to end and the manga will be resuming on January 6.
