'Madoka Magica' to Release Smartphone Game, To Be Available in Spring 2017

Our favorite mahou shoujo series returns to the Android and iOS devices this Spring 2017! Story information and visuals of the upcoming Puella Magi Madoka Magica smartphone game titled Magia Record: Mahō Shōjo Madoka Magica Gaiden (Magia Record: Puella Magi Madoka Magica Side Story) were released in its official website on Monday. Ume Aoki illustrated the visuals as well as creating the character designs of the character including the new magical girl Iroha Tamaki.

To give you a little synopsis of the game, the story is set in the town of Kamihama as you are guided by a strange force. It is to find out that the magical girls gather in the town to battle with power that is drawn from witches. Iroha Tamaki is in a search for younger sister Ui who went missing. Later on, Homura Akemi arrives in Kamihama thinking if she can understand the town’s mystery maybe she can save Kaname (Madoka).
