'Neko Atsume' Film to Premiere in Japan on April 8

Yes. people. Neko Atsume (the popular kawaii kitty collector game app) will have its own movie and will premiere in Japan on April 8, 2017.

The film will be screened in Shinjuku Musashinokan another cinemas nationwide. Japanese actress Shiori Katsuna (Lunafreya in Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV) will be playing the role of Michiru Towada, the films heroine and the editor of the protagonist. Atsushi Itou will be playing the lead role as Sakumoto.

To give you a little synopsis of the film, it follows an award-winning author and best-selling novelist Sakumoto who is dealing with a bad case of the writer’s block. As a way getting to a new start of life, he moved to a simple home only to find out that this did not help him with his small predicament. One day, he then become so intrigued with a cat who stopped by his garden.
