According to a Twitter image post made by
Gainax West anime studio (in both English and Japanese), the studio is now making the "first step" with its
Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt anime project. The studio has organized a new project in order to release "a new product" for the franchise. Aside from this, they will also be opening up a cafe and an exhibition in Kobe Anime Street.Below contains the link to the official tweet:
The anime series premiered in 2010 with a total of 13 episodes. The studio started hinting on a new anime season for
Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt since November featuring the words "Coming Soon" and outlines of the anime's two main protagonists.
