Novel Series 'DIVE!!' Gets Anime Adaptation to Air This July

In a livestream event during Fuji TV’s Noitamina programming block on Thursday, they have revealed that Eto Mori’s DIVE!! novel series will have an anime adaptation that is slated to be aired in July. You can check out the promotional video below:

Kaoru Suzuki will be the directing the anime at ZERO-G. Other confirmed staff in this production will be Touko Machida and Suzuhito Yasuda who will be overseeing the scripts and handing the original character designs respectively.

DIVE!! is a four-volume novel series published from 2000 to 2002. The story begins with the Mizuki Diving Club that is about to close down due to financial problems. The new coach of the club convinces the parent company to stay with one special condition: the club is required to send one of its members to be part of Japan’s Olympic team and to participate in next year’s Olympics.

Yuuki Kaji will be playing Tomoki Sakai who is a member of the club.
