New 'Pokemon' Film Announced!

During the airing of the Japanese children's variety program Oha Suta on Thursday, it was announced that a new Pokemon film titled Gekijōban Pocket Monster: Kimi ni Kimeta! or 'Pokemon the Movie: I Choose You!' will premiere on July 15, 2017. The show also aired the film's teaser which can be found below:


The upcoming movie's title is also the same as the anime's first episode ("Pokémon! Kimi ni Kimeta!") which originally aired in 1997.

Pokémon the Movie: Volcanion and the Mechanical Marvel was the franchise's recent film which premiered on July 16 this year. Disney XD released an English dub for in the US on December 5.
If you have grown up with the Pokemon anime franchise since you were a kid, this would probably be one film that you shouldn't miss.
