Pokemon GO Adds More Johto Pokemon, Pichu and Togepi Now Added!

Posted in: Anime News

The long wait is finally over. The official Pokemon GO website has already confirmed that “several new Pokemon” as well as Pichu and Togepi have been added to the game’s latest update.

With that said, we now have a better reason to go back into the game to catch them all!

The announcement also confirms that you can now get eggs from PokeStops that hatches Pokemon from the Johto region (based from the franchise’s second generation games Pokemon Gold and Pokemon Silver). A recent game collaboration with two business chains namely Starbucks and Sprint stores, eggs will be a common drop in the PokeStops that are found their individual branches.

In its early release, Pokemon GO offered players the opportunity to catch 145 Pokemon from the Kanto Region (excluding Articuno, Moltres, Zapdos, Mewtwo, Mew, and Ditto). Ditto however was released during November’s game update.
