Get ready to start “Fighting Evil by Moonlight and Win Love by Daylight!” once again!
Viz Media on Thursday had officially uploaded the English-dubbed trailer for Sailor Moon R Movie: Promise of the Rose. The film was originally released in 1993 with VHS and DVD releases from 1999 to 2004. You can check out the video below:
Tickets for this movie have been on sale since Thursday. Viz Media have teamed up along with Eleven Arts in order to screen the movie in over 300 U.S. theaters. A special premiere screening with a Q and A panel will happen at The Theater at Ace Hotel in Los Angeles this January 17.
Special limited edition gifts will be given to those who will be watching the movie and more announcements regarding the list of theaters, schedules, and so on will be given in the soonest time.
A special anime short titled "Make-Up! Sailor Senshi will also be screened along with the movie in both English dubbed and Original Japanese dub (with English subtitles).

Long before Mamoru found his destiny with Usagi, he gave a single rose in thanks to a lonely boy who helped him recover from the crash that claimed his parents. This long-forgotten friend, Fiore, has been searching the galaxy for a flower worthy of that sweet gesture long ago. The mysterious flower he finds is beautiful, but has a dark side- it has the power to take over planets. To make matters worse, the strange plant is tied to an ominous new asteroid near Earth! Faced with an enemy blooming out of control, It’s up to Sailor Moon and the Sailor Guardians to band together, stop the impending destruction and save Mamoru!
