Viz Media to Digital Release 'The Children Nowadays' Manga

The first volume of the manga The Children Nowadays will be released by Viz Media digitally. In their recent announcement, it can be bought and viewed starting December 13.

This manga was created by Kiriko Kubo and was first published by Big Comics Spirits magazine in 1986. The manga had a total of thirteen volumes with the last volume published in 1994.

Here’s a description about the series as described by Viz:

Kirita is a typical child of the Eighties, equally worried about homework and nuclear war. His precocious friend Takumi can’t figure out why the other kids won’t acknowledge him as their obvious superior. And silent Tsugumu just wants to rock out. Welcome to the secret world of the children nowadays.
