FUNimation to License 'Attack on Titan' Season 2

It seems that the chances of seeing Attack on Titan Season 2 for the West are high now. In a recent announcement released by FUNimation Animation on Thursday, they have already licensed the series’ second season.

The first episode is set to premiere in Japan this April 2017. Tetsuro Araki (who is AoT Season One’s Director) returns as the production’s chief director for this season along with Masashi Koizuka (AoT Season One Episode Director) who will be taking over the director post.

FUNimation released and streamed the first season episodes back in September 2013 as well the home video releases in 2014.
