'Hunter X Hunter' and 'Saiyuki' Musician Kenichi Kurosawa Passes Away

2016 has been a ride for all of us especially those who work in the anime and entertainment industries. The official website of Kenichi Kurosawa has released a statement that he passed away last December 5 at the age of 48. The cause of his death is due to brain tumor.

A private funeral service will be organized exclusive for his family members. The website will announce a memorial service for Kurosawa’s fans in a later date.

He is responsible for making the lyrics and music for the Saiyuki as well as the man behind the opening and ending theme songs for Hunter x Hunter OVA (2002) and Hunter x Hunter: G I Final OVA.
