'Gintama' Anime Staff Returns for a New Production!

Gintama fans, are you ready? The anime’s official website has released a new visual on Monday with the staff from its previous anime adaptations returning for this upcoming anime production. ЯeaL (a four-member all-girls band) have confirmed to sing the anime opening song (“Kagero) while RIZE will perform the ending theme song (”Silver"). The premiere is slated on January 9, 2017.

The following returning staff for the new Gintama anime are the following: Director Chizuru Miyawaki, Character Designer and Chief Animator Shinji Takeuchi, Design Director Yumi Nakamura, and Art Directors Takayoshi Fukushima and Nami Maniwa to name of a few.

The anime series is based on the popular manga series of the same which was first published in 2004. It is one of Japan’s leading and top-selling manga series to date.
