Yen Press has licensed three more Kingdom Hearts light novel series. In its Twitter account, Yen Press revealed last week that it has acquired the license to publish the following titles: Kingdom Hearts II, Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, and Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep.

The Kingdom Hearts light novel series were based on the games of the same titles, and were originally published by Square Enix. The novels were written by Tomoco Kanemaki, while the covers were illustrated by Shiro Amano, who also adapted the manga version of Kingdom Hearts series. Yen Press has acquired the license to publish Kingdom Hearts novel in English versions, releasing its first adaptation in 2015.

Kingdom Hearts Hearts II

Kingdom Hearts Hearts II takes place one year after the events in Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories, with Sora, as the story’s protagonist. Sora returns in search for his lost friends.

Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days

Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, on the other hand, tells the tale of Roxas, a member of Organization XIII. Roxas’ story occurred in parallel with Sora’s timeline.

Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep

The events in Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep focuses on the story of Ventus, the main character, and his friends Terra and Aqua, which happened ten years before Sora and Roxas’ stories.
