The director, writer, and cast of the 2013 TV anime Yuyushiki return as a special Original Video Animation (OVA) DVD is set to release on February 22. This has been revealed on Wednesday in the January 2017 issue of Megami Magazine. The series is based on a four-panel manga (4koma) series of the same name created by Komata Mikami.

After announcing last August that she will go on hiatus from voice acting to focus on treating her illness, Risa Taneda will be joining in the Yuyushiki cast once again to reprise her role as Yukari Hinata.

Aside from Taneda, below is the list of the official cast who will be reprising their roles for this Special OVA:

Rumi Ookubo as Yuzuko Nonohara

Minami Tsuda as Yui Ichii

Yui Horie as Yoriko Matsumoto

Ai Kayano as Chiho Aikawa

Megumi Han as Kei Okano

Mana Shimizu as Fumi Hasegawa

The Yuyushiki 4koma was first released in Manga Time Kirara magazine in 2008 with an 8th compiled book released on June 27.
