New 'Baki' Manga Gets Anime Treatment

It has been revealed in the 2017 issue of Weekly Shonen Champion magazine on Thursday that the manga series Baki (New Grappler Baki: In Search of Our Strongest Hero) will be getting an anime adaptation soon.

This is the 2nd installment of the said franchise created by Keisuke Itagaki and announcements related to the anime will be revealed soon in the magazine’s future chapters.

The manga series ran for around 31 volumes from 1999 to 2005. An original anime DVD adaptation will have the “Most Evil Death Row Convicts” in a limited edition bundle that has the 14th volume of Baki-Dou manga to be released on December 6.
