Posted in: Anime News

Sekina Aoi’s school comedy light novel series Gamers! is expected to have its anime adaptation, according to an official announcement during the Fantasia Bunko Big Thanks Festival 2016 in Akihabara. This will be the second time that Sekina Aoi’s works would be given an animated series, after his Student Council’s Discretion two TV anime adaptations in 2009 by Studio Deen and 2013 by AIC.

The said light novel started its publishing in March 2015 in cooperation with Kadokawa’s Fujimi Fantasia Bunko. Aside from that, Tsubasa Takahashi’s manga adaptation of the light novel will be available by December 2016 in the Kadokawa Shone Ace magazine that will be released on October 26.

Gamers! focuses on the life of Keita Amano, a typical second grade high school student who loves gaming regardless of the game genres. One day, game club president Karen Tendo invites him to the organization, not to mention that the said president is the most gorgeous girl in his high school. From here, his typical high school bishoujo harem life starts.

1st CM for the novel (March 2015)

2nd CM (July 2016)
