“Full Metal Panic!” TV Anime Confirmed on 2017

It was announced during the Fantasia Bunko Big Thanks Festival 2016 in Akihabara that Shoji Gatoh’s Full Metal Panic will be having its new TV anime adaptation in fall 2017. Aside from that, they are already working on an audio drama based on the “Odoru Very Merry Christmas” episode.

Before this new upcoming project, Full Metal Panic! had been given its own TV anime thrice named as follows: Full Metal Panic! (2002), Full Metal Panic? Fumoffu (2003), and Full Metal Panic! The Second Raid (2005) all from Kyoto Animation. On the other hand, Full Metal Panic IV, the newest project, will be under XEBEC (Fafner in the Azure, Space Battleship Yamato 2199). The director for this project is Katsuichi Nakayama who is famous for his directing in The Good With of the West.
