The official website of the Gintama live action film has posted its first teaser trailer on Thursday, December 15. The film, scheduled to premiere in summer 2017 in Japanese theaters, is directed by Yūichi Fukuda.

Fuji TV's Noitamina announced during a livestream event on Thursday, December 15, that Scum's Wish (Kuzu no Honkai) manga series will release its final chapter in Spring 2017. The manga, written and illustrated by Mengo Yokoyari, has been serialized in Square Enix's Big Gangan magazine since 2012.
