Godzilla, King of the Monsters, has taken over North America. The limited theatrical engagement of “SHIN GODZILLA” was scheduled to close tonight but in the wake of overwhelming fan response, Funimation Films announced that the movie will be extended due to popular demand.

Yutaka Kono’s light novel series Sakurada Reset live-action adaptation is coming out with the first movie of two this Spring 2017, and the audience can now view the official movie poster and teaser trailer online.

The anime adaptation of the four-panel manga Urara Meirochou will be expected on January 2017 via TBS (Tokyo Broadcasting System) and BS-TBS. This news has greatly excited fans. The anime series will be directed by Youhei Suzuki (Shimoneta: A Boring World Where the Concept of Dirty Jokes Doesn’t Exist), with the help of series composer Deko Akao (Etotama, Flying Witch), character designer Mai Otsuka (Non Non Biyori) and J.

Amazon will be catering to the English dub streaming of Goro Miyazaki’s 3DCG adaptation of Swedish author’s Astrid Lindgren’s (Pippi Longstocking) children fantasy novel “Ronja the Robber’s Daughter.” Hayao’s son worked with Polygon Pictures, Saltkrakan (the Astrid Lindgren Company) and Studio Ghibli (Spirited Away, Howl’s Moving Castle) for the said project.

The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift actor Satoshi Tsumaboki will be performing as the serial killer Frog Man, alongside Lupin the Third actor Shun Oguri who will be main protagonist detective Hisashi Sawamura, in the live-action adaptation of Ryosuke Tomoe’s psycho thriller manga Museum.

A two-hour film of the “Super Kabuki II One Piece” performed last fall in the Tokyo Shinbashi Enbujo theater will be available in Japan on October 22. The film entitled “Cinema Kabuki One Piece” portrays the Battle for Marineford/War of the Best arc of the manga story.
