It has been confirmed that “R: B Blaze”, the first film in GoRA and GoHands' six-part K: Seven Stories theatrical anime project will be having a manga adaptation. Revealed in the August issue of Kodansha's Shonen Magazine Edge, it has not been specified whether the manga will be a one-shot or a serialization.

Coming in January 2019 is a new magical girl anime as the “Magical Girl Special Ops Asuka” a.k.a. “Mahō Shōjo Tokushūsen Asuka” series is confirmed for an anime adaptation. Revealed via an official website that was launched for the series, a teaser visual and promotional video including an introduction from Kirara Asuka were also revealed along with staff details.

At a screening of the “Bungo Stray Dogs: Dead Apple” film, it has been confirmed by the staff that the “Bungou Stray Dogs” anime series would be having a third season. The news was also confirmed by the series’ official website.

The anime industry has lost another great person. It was announced that Fujio Tokita, a Japanese voice actor and actor passed away. He died at age 81 due to a brain hemorrhage. His close family will hold a funeral service his eldest son Seiji as the chief mourner.

A second English-subtitled trailer of the I Want to Eat Your Pancreas anime film was uploaded by Aniplex of America on Wednesday. In this latest video, the song “Fafare” performed by rock band sumika was previewed.
