April has arrived and that means the time has come for Spring 2018 anime to arrive. Whether it be new anime or anime gearing up for a new season or second cour, there’s always something to check out for the season.

Last Wednesday, Funimation Entertainment released an English-dubbed trailer for the anime adaptation of Sui Ishida’s Tokyo Goul:re manga. The popular anime streaming service will also release the first few English-dubbed episodes simultaneously with Japan.

Multiple announcements have been made by Viz Media at Anime Boston. Ranging from anime to manga and more, some of the series titles involved in the announcements include “Abara”, “Dragon Quest Illustrations”, the six-movie series “K Movies - Seven Stories”, and many more.

Returning for more hours of work are the contrasting cats of “Working Buddies.” a.k.a. “Hataraku Oniisan.” as a new season is announced for the series. Set to release in June 2018, the new season will be broadcasted on Tokyo MX and BS.

One day he receives a package from his father and fears the worst as previous gifts from his self-proclaimed “adventurer” father left a less than pleasant impression given how they ranged from cursed items to killer spirits.

Synopsis This is the story of Ryuichi Kashima and his infant brother, Kotaro. Orphaned upon losing their parents to a plane crash, the two are taken in by Yoko Morinomiya, the director of a children’s academy who lost her adult son and her daughter-in-law in the same plane crash.

Coming on April 25 is the shipment of the “Godzilla Project Mechagodzilla novel”. The release of the novel will be marking the upcoming theatrical release of “Godzilla: Kessen Kidō Zōshoku Toshi” a.

From manga to OVA and now to live-action, “Kyou Kara Ore Wa..” has been announced for a new live-action television series adaptation set for October in NTV's Nichiyō Drama time slot. Yuuichi Fukuda, the director behind “Gintama: Mitsuba hen” will be directing the series.

Synopsis Saki is a young girl who aims to become an idol and is in love with her best friend’s brother, Mohiro, a popular male idol. One day she encounters a yakuza which led to her shock and dismay, the revelation that her mother was a former magical girl and now the yakuza male, who is in fact the mascot behind recruiting her mother wants to recruit her.

Synopsis This is a tale that begins with a wolf and a goat, meeting one stormy night and befriending one another. From this friendships stems a story of hardships and the two of them overcoming their differences.
