A new historical fiction anime is about to come to screen and its name is “Shoukoku no Altair”. It tells the story of a young Pasha known as Mahmut serving on the council of the Türkiye Stratocracy. With the council split between the warmongers and the pacifists from the growing threat of an aggressive Empire Mahmut sets out on a quest to keep the peace as the clouds of war grow larger.

The popular short telling the story of a young girl assigned to be a dentist to a dragon otherwise known as “Dragon Dentist” gains a two-part special anime adaptation to be aired around a week apart with the first part of the special airing on February 18, 2017, at 8 a.
