The Nintendo Direct presentation has announced amazing news for Zelda fans: one of the franchise’s most beloved games, Link’s Awakening, is getting a remake for Nintendo Switch this year. The game was first released in 1993 and was the first Zelda game for Nintendo’s Game Boy.

It was announced on Monday by VIZ Media that they have recently acquired the license to publish Junji Ito's manga titled No Longer Human. This is a manga adaptation for the classic novel of the same name created by Osamu Dazai.

It was announced on Wednesday by Sentai Filmworks that they will be producing an English dub for the 2009 gender-swapping anime series Kämpfer. As of this time, the company has not officially revealed the released date as well as the following cast for this production.

Another cast member has been revealed for the brand new adaptation of the beloved classic Fruits Basket. The animé’s official website has just announced that veteran seiyuu Maaya Sakamoto is joining the cast as Akito Sohma.

Sanrio’s iconic character, Hello Kitty, is set to star in a new TV series. On February 6 the company announced that its beloved character will star in a new TV series entitled The World of Hello Kitty.

The upcoming Yuri Fair has released its key visual for this year, and it features an original Bloom Into You illustration by Nakatani Nio. Besides Nakatani’s illustration, the key visual also features a girls’ love live-action photography by photographer Minori Takahashi.

Aside from Parasite Eve which was filed for trademarks in Europe last year and in the United Kingdom as reported a few days ago, game company Square Enix has also filed two video game titles for trademarking in the United States and these are Secret of Mana and Final Fantasy Adventure As of this time, the company has not released any statement for its reasons of trademarking the said titles.

The anime adaptation of Coolkyoushinja’s Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid is confirmed to have a second season. This was confirmed on Tuesday in the wraparound jacket band of the manga’s eight volume. Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid was launched in May 2013 in the debut issue of Monthly Action magazine.

An anime film is officially added to the growing list of streaming platform HIDIVE. Love, Chunibyo and Other Delusions - Take on Me will officially be available for streaming beginning on February 18, 2019 at 10:00 am Pacific Standard time.

The newest project in the Gundam franchise, Mobile Suit Gundam Narrative, will be receiving a one day screening in an estimated 450 theaters in the US. The one-day screening scheduled on February 19 will feature the English-dubbed version of the movie.
