Based on Project Itoh’s novel and licensed by anime publisher “FUNimation Entertainment”, upcoming anime sci-fi film set in a world destroyed by a nuclear device with a transformed government “Genocidal Organ” is announced to premier on February 3 in Japan with pre-order ticket sales starting earlier this month.

In December 2014, video game and publisher company “Sekai Project” released a visual novel entitled “Nekopara” on PC via Steam and later on released two more volumes in the following years. On December 9 this year it has been announced on the “Nekopara” twitter that an OVA (Original Video Animation) adaptation would be made along with a kickstarter campaign to occur on December 29.

Now on its 60th year, Toei Animation has released a new original anime film titled Popin Q which premiered on December 23 in Japan. The animation studio officially released the first 16 minutes of the film on Thursday.

On Friday, December 30, Clockwork Planet announced through its official Twitter account that fripSide will perform the series’ opening theme song. fripSide previously performed the opening theme songs of the following television anime series: Ajin Season 2, Black Bullet, A Certain Scientific Railgun, Future Card Buddyfight 100, Schwarzes Marken, and Seraph of the End: Battle in Nagoya.

Crunchyroll announced on Friday, December 30 that it will stream the anime adaptation of Ukami’s Gabriel Dropout manga series in January. The site said it will simulcast the show on Monday, January 9, at 11:00 a.

The anime adaptation fo the Akiba's Trip franchise will premiere this January 4 and the staff have officially announced in an advanced screening on Tuesday that 10 Japanese artists will perform the ending theme songs of the series.

The official website for the television anime adaptation of Ryoko Fukuyama’s manga, Anonymous Noise (Fukumenkei Noizu), began streaming the series’ first promotional video on Wednesday, December 28. The Anonymous Noise anime series is slated to premiere in April next year under Brain Base.
